CUPOLA INSTALLATION
- Lay out Pitch on 2 opposite sides of base
- Measure 1 ½" down parallel to Roof Pitch
- Cut out the triangle it creates and put a cu straight up the middle to your roof
- Pitch Line (center of roof)
- Bend 1 ½" Flange up 90º
- Apply generous amount of caulking to all flanges and fasten down to roof using 1 ½ - 2" wood grips and try to fasten into rafters below
WEATHERVANE ASSEMBLY
- Position the Cupola roof on its side
- Separate Bracket “A” from Bracket “B’ by removing the 4 truss screws
- Remove Bracket “A” from cupola
- Remove the weathervane “PIN” from the package
- Remove the truss screws that are pre-drilled into Bracket “A”
- Loosen the bolt & nut in the “PIN” clutch to match the angle on top of Bracket “A.
- Insert the truss screws and tighten. Also tighten the bolt & nut on the clutch
- Install the Bracket “A” complete with the “PIN” back into the cupola and fasten to Bracket “B”.
- Pack the strip of butyl tape (supplied) around bottom of the “PIN” on top of the cupola making it weather tight
- Fasten the cupola “Roof” onto the cupola “Base” with 4 truss screws
- Above applies to 200/250/350
- Model #420 shipped with weathervane (pin installed)

- Layout pitch on the base of the Cupola making sure that it is laid out on the sides perpendicular to the sides that have the 16 gauge galvalume feet at the very bottom
- After pitch is laid out add 2" onto pitch so that it can be used as a nailing flange to mount onto roof
- Cut along nailing flange line and bend up 90º - Put the direction indicators on
- Cupola is now ready to be mounted onto roof. Make sure that there is a least 1 lag screw put through each galvalume foot and that it is fastened onto the truss system of the roof
